You bought Samsung The Frame because you wanted the room to look finished. A picture on the wall. Not a TV on a stand, and not a cord running down the drywall. A Samsung The Frame install in Lenexa only looks simple on the showroom floor. At home, the work is the outlet, the One Connect box, and the wire hiding.

Call or text (913) 674-9723 and tell me your city, the TV size, and whether the spot is a flat wall or a fireplace. If you are still comparing cost, start with the Kansas City TV mounting cost guide.

You want The Frame to look like art

That is the win. Art Mode on, edges clean, the panel close to the wall, and the couch as the only place you need to be. Homeowners in Lenexa, Overland Park, Olathe, Shawnee, and Leawood tell me the same thing. They already picked the TV. They want the wall to match the decision.

The problem is the wall, not the TV

The external problem is practical. The outlet is usually in the wrong place. The One Connect box needs a home that you can still reach. Power and HDMI have to disappear or Art Mode never looks like art.

The internal problem is the one people actually feel. You do not want to drill the wrong spot, push the TV off the wall with a bulky plug, or end up with a television that still looks like a project.

The principle is simple. A Frame should look like a picture. If a cord is in the photo, it is not done.

I do this across the Kansas City metro every week

I am Dan at SmartHome Connect, based in Lenexa. I mount The Frame in real living rooms, not showrooms, across Overland Park, Olathe, Shawnee, Leawood, Prairie Village, Mission, Merriam, Kansas City, and Lee’s Summit. Homeowners usually find us through nearly 200 Google reviews at 4.9, then book once they see finished walls in actual houses.

I know the showroom version and your wall are not the same. A newer Lenexa two-story is not a brick fireplace in Prairie Village. We plan for the wall you have.

The plan is three steps

  1. You send a photo of the wall and the TV size, or you tell me on the phone.
  2. We pick the power path, the One Connect spot, and how the wires will hide before anyone drills.
  3. I mount the Frame, hide the wires, connect your devices, and walk through Art Mode from the couch.

Weekday slots are 11am, 2pm, and 5pm. Saturday slots are 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. Clear the wall area and have your streaming logins handy if you want everything tested before I leave. You do not need to empty the room.

Power, the One Connect box, and wire hiding

For a flush look, power usually has to live behind the TV. In a lot of Lenexa homes that means a recessed outlet, so the plug does not shove the panel off the wall. If an outlet is already close, we use it. If the right spot for the TV is nowhere near power, we talk through it on site. Fireplace, brick, stone, and older plaster change what is realistic.

On Frame models that use a One Connect box, that box is where the streaming stick, soundbar, console, or cable box plugs in. The thin cable from the box to the panel is what keeps the TV looking thin. I place it behind the TV when the cavity allows, in a nearby cabinet when service access is cleaner, or next to the audio gear so you are not crawling behind the sofa later. Tell me about a soundbar before we cut. The route changes.

Basic TV mounting starts from $150 and includes the bracket and wire hiding when the wall allows. For The Frame, hiding the wires is the difference between a gallery wall and a regular TV wall. In-wall when the wall allows it. A painted raceway when it does not. A mix of both on a fireplace or an exterior wall. Frame details such as a recessed outlet, One Connect placement, a fireplace, brick, or a larger size can add cost. We confirm that on site so you are not handed a one-size quote that ignores your wall.

If the spot is above a fireplace

Eye level is where you sit, not where a catalog photo is shot. A Frame over a mantel often needs a pull-down conversation, because a TV you can only watch while standing is a neck problem. Read the fireplace mounting guide before we set the height. Most rooms I see land at 55, 65, or 75 inches. An 85 can be right in an open great room and too much in a smaller condo.

What you get, and what you avoid

Skip the plan and the usual misses show up. A cord in every photo. A One Connect box stuffed where you cannot add a device. A fireplace height that looks fine until you sit down.

Do the plan and the room looks finished. The panel sits close to the wall. Art Mode holds up from the couch. Your devices are plugged in. You are not thinking about the install anymore.

Put your Frame install on the schedule

If The Frame is still on a stand, or it is already up with a cord showing, that is the job. Call or text (913) 674-9723, email info@smarthomeconnectllc.com, or use the contact form. Tell me the city, the size, and flat wall or fireplace.

Not ready to book? Read the TV mounting cost guide or the TV mounting service page, then call when the wall plan is the only thing left.
